The Universal Motor Controllers UMC22 and UMC100 can be flexibly expanded. So they can be perfectly adopted to the application needs.
The LCD operator panels UMC22-PAN and UMC100-PAN allow to monitor, configure and control the UMCs. They can be mounted separately from the UMCs e.g. on the switchboard door. Three colored LEDs show the device status.
The ground fault monitors CEM11 monitor the sum of the currents in the motor feeder cable. The alarm level can be adjusted stepwise. Only four devices (20mm – 120mm) cover the current range from 80mA – 13.6A.
For applications with many IO signals the UMC100 can be expanded with additional 8 digital inputs, 4 relay outputs and one analog output using either the DX111 or DX122. The two modules are only different regarding the specification of their digital inputs (24VDC resp. 110VAC – 230VAC).
The VI150 and VI155 modules extend the UMC100 with functions such as detection of mains voltage, cosphi, power and energy. Additional protection functions are thereby provided, e.g. underload detection for a pump based on the active power.
