Panel Builder 800
The Panel 800 family is configured with the Panel Builder 800 tool. Based on the familiar Windows interface, Panel Builder 800 contains features like Project Manager, Symbol Manager, and a powerful simulation tool to enhance engineering efficiency and provide additional programming options. Panel Builder 800 is backwards compatible and can therefore also configure older Process Panels 200- and 300-series. It’s also possible to reuse an application from a Process Panel and load it into a Panel 800.
Remote Access Viewer - RAV
The Remote Access Viewer is an efficient program for remote access and control of Panel 800 units. The RAV is included on the Panel Builder CD but needs to be separately installed.
Panel Connect
The program Panel Connect is used to establish modem communication between a personal computer and a terminal with a connected controller system. The Panel Connect is part of the Panel Tools package available on the Panel Builder CD.
Panel File Transfer
The program Panel File Transfer is used for transferring recipes, alarm lists and trend files between the terminal and a personal computer. The Panel Connect is part of the Panel Tools package available on the Panel Builder CD.
Panel FTP Client
Panel FTP Client is used to transfer recipes, trend files, alarm lists, html files, Java applets and bitmaps between the terminal and a personal computer via FTP (File Transfer Protocol). The Panel Connect is part of the Panel Tools package available on the Panel Builder CD.
Automatic driver update
In the Panel Builder 800 there is a tool for automatic driver updates. The Panel Builder 800 can thus be ordered to check for new updates and if available, it will download and install the new drivers automatically. If no Internet connection exists, the drivers can be manually installed.
Image Loader
This application is used for up- or downgrading the firmware image on a Panel 800 unit. All released firmware versions are available on the Panel Builder CD together with the Image Loader.
